1989

In March, Sports Equipment and Flooring was created in a small home office with a garage storage space.

1991

Hired first employee, who is still with the company today.

1993

Started our in-house labor division for installation, sanding and refinishing. We moved out of the home office and upgraded to a 3000 Square Foot office warehouse facility.

1996

Outgrew the current space and upgraded to an 8000 Square Foot office warehouse facility in Monroe, NC. Received Superior Floors National Top 5 Dealer Award.

1997

Opened the Maintenance Division for Screen and Recoats.

1998

Installed the largest job in company history – ECU Student Recreation Center.

1999

Installed our 1 Millionth Square Foot of athletic flooring.

2000

Became Epaggalea, LLC dba The Sports Flooring Group

2001

Received Action Floors National Top 10 Dealer Award.

2004

Installed our 2 Millionth Square Foot of athletic flooring.

2007

Achieved 4 Million Square Feet of Maintenance contracts.

2009

Celebrated our 20th year in business. Chosen to be the Carolinas Executive Distributor by SnapSports.

2010

Installed our 3 Millionth Square Foot of athletic flooring.
After 21 years in business we continue to be one of the leaders in the full service sports flooring business.
